Overview Money Forward Cloud is a component-based Cloud ERP where users can choose and combine services based on their needs, and is composed of multiple service groups. The Core Technology Division strategically builds common platforms to prevent data fragmentation, degraded user experiences, and diminished development efficiency caused by the independent development of these services, and promotes the stable use of each service. As a product division that develops company-wide platforms, we are responsible for the development and operation of a wide range of products, from business-essential platforms to purely technical platforms, including billing/contract platforms, audit log platforms, ID platforms, API gateways, and feature flags. Responsibilities and Duties Currently, Money Forward has significant room for cross-product functions and activities, such as product standardization and foundational products, to make an impact. This position is a crucial role that is committed to improving company-wide development efficiency and the reliability of core products, ensuring that they deliver meaningful value to each business unit and the entire enterprise, rather than just developing and operating infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Contribution to Business: Collaborate with internal PdMs (Product Managers), engineers on the business unit side, and sales teams to accurately understand end-user needs, and commit to business growth through developing platforms required by end-users. Improving Reliability and Development Efficiency of Core Products: Aim to build a development structure that is easy to adopt, delivering platform products stably with fast response times. Strengthen the domain of "Platform Engineering," build mechanisms that are easy for engineers in each business unit to adopt, and establish solid relationships and communication lines. Unify necessary specifications and maintain documentation and communication lines. Required Skills and Experience Management experience in product development organizations for toB SaaS or large-scale services. Experience in product development and operation within company-wide infrastructure or platform domains. Experience in formulating and executing product strategies with a strong focus on business contribution. 5+ years of experience in development management. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in technical standardization and architecture design across multiple products. Experience in building development structures based on the concepts of Platform Engineering. Experience in managing teams with global/diverse members. Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes. (More information here) Language Requirements English: Business-level proficiency Ability to handle daily communication and meetings with internal stakeholders via reading, writing, and speaking. Japanese: Conversational-level proficiency While complete fluency is not required, you should be able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders in daily business interactions. Proactive and positive attitude toward communicating flexibly using both English and Japanese depending on the stakeholders and the situation. Technology Stack As a leader overseeing company-wide platform development, knowledge in the following areas is desirable: General knowledge of web service development (modern web server-side, frontend, databases, cloud infrastructure, etc.). Knowledge of architecture design and operation for microservices. Deep knowledge of foundational platform technologies, including ID platforms, API gateways, and authentication/authorization. Experience in service development and operation leveraging cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
