***【JOB SUMMARY】***The Graphic Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Graphic Design team within the USJ Entertainment Creative Art \& Design Team. The Graphic Design Manager will ensure that the graphic elements – including logos, banners, posters, show signage, operational signage, murals, and attraction marquees are up to the high standards of Universal Destinations \& Experience theme parks.
The Graphic Design Manager will also work with leadership to oversee the creation, development, and production of concept decks to establish and unify the creative vision of future projects. The Graphic Design Manager is responsible for solidifying the vision, resolving conflicting and inconsistent design in all department\-generated graphic artwork.
Collaborates with the Entertainment Creative Team, Director, Entertainment Creative, Senior Art Director, Art Directors, Concept Designers, Producers, and project teams to develop creative graphic designs.
***【ROLES \& RESPONSIBILITIES】**** Develops visual graphic design direction and defines graphic design elements of the assigned project that affect the guest experience. Supervise others to develop those design ideas.
* Leads the internal Graphic Design Team of up to eight designers, and is responsible for assigning projects, evaluating deliverables, giving employee feedback/performance evaluations, and collaborating with department and project leadership to ensure sufficient graphic design resources are in place to meet the needs of all department projects and internal initiatives.
* Collaborates with internal talent and external vendors to execute the desired graphic design vision. Directs graphic art related vendors and any scenic scope that requires graphic design direction.
* Works with the Senior Art Director to identify and procure graphic design talent and resources necessary to complete the project.
* Acts as project liaison with internal and external partners, licensors, and intellectual property developers as needed in matters related to graphic design.
* Is highly skilled in all matters of print design. Media design knowledge is a bonus.
* Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud software packages, with an emphasis on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. InDesign proficiency is desirable.
* Is knowledgeable in all aspects of typeface, layout, color theory, and graphic design principles.
* Knowledge of working in scale is desirable.
* Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
***【REQUIREMENTS】*****Requirements**
Designing experience\-based entertainment graphic design for world\-class theme parks or related industries; must have at least 10 – 15 years of graphic design experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Prior Universal experience and/or knowledge of the UDX brand.
Prior theme park graphic design experience.
**Required Education**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design.

***【Holidays】***120 days annually / average 10 days off per month, normally weekends off; weekend work may be required depending on the production phase; compensation days off are available.
