The service is currently being used by a growing number of financial institutions, construction and brokerage firms, with a focus on developers and funds. Service Overview Using 『REMETIS』 is simple; simply drag and drop property information in PDF files to create a database. The data is automatically linked to a map and integrated with various data such as past land sales history, rents, yields, land prices, and development examples, making it possible to search for information necessary for real estate investment and financing analysis in a one-stop operation. In addition, for real estate distribution operations, buying needs can be organized along with properties for sale, and sales and purchases are automatically matched. This systematically introduces properties, which tends to be a personalized process, thereby preventing omissions. The above enables speedy and highly accurate information gathering, profitability studies, and property introductions, as well as revitalization of meetings, standardization of operations, paperless operation, and reduction of opportunity loss due to missing out on good deals. Why we are recruiting for this position As the company continues to grow, we are encountering challenges arising from the balance between improving existing features and developing new ones to expand into new markets. As such, we're looking for a frontend engineer to join the team. You’ll work closely with the frontend engineers to discuss highly technical details, as well as the backend and product teams to help deliver impactful full-stack features. Who We Are RESTAR provides a real estate and geographic information analysis/management platform (BtoB software) for real estate companies and financial institutions. The real estate market generates an incredible amount of data. REMETIS integrates publicly available information and client data to lower real estate transaction costs and simplify complex investment workflows. We show real estate trends and market opportunities so that our clients can make better investment decisions. For our clients, REMETIS improves the underwriting and due diligence process by making it easier to access and understand data. It also promotes information sharing, business standardization, and paperless operations. Responsibilities Develop and improve the frontend of our main REMETIS platform, primarily using Vue and TypeScript Collaborate closely with Product and Sales to clarify and refine feature requirements Work with Product , Sales and Design to improve user interfaces Develop efficient, maintainable, and clean frontend code Follow security best practices Work with a hybrid engineering team focused on technical excellence and continuous improvement Conduct code reviews with peers Engage in technical discussions with other engineers to refine solutions and designs. Effectively communicate the feasibility of requested features to product leadership and work to find alternative solutions if necessary Continuously improve your understanding of the real estate industry and domain Continuously improve your knowledge of the codebase and the technologies we use Identify tools, technologies, and patterns to improve the frontend system Maintain and improve coding standards, design patterns, and frontend architecture Be proactive in voicing improvements of the codebase and product Our Tech Stack Technology stack: Vue, Typescript, Playwright, Storybook, Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, AWS Task management: GitHub, Notion Communication Tools: Slack, Figma Requirements You're our ideal candidate if: You have experience building complex user interfaces. You have experience with managing complex state management. You enjoy writing clean, well-tested code. You enjoy engaging in technical discussions with other engineers. You thrive in a startup environment and communicate well with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You are eager to learn. You are able to commute to the Tokyo office at least once a week. Preferred Skills Conversational-level Japanese Experience w/ Elixir You have experience w/ using a frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, Solid, etc). Compensation Employment status: Full time (Discretionary working system) Contract term: Permanent Probation: 6 months Annual salary: 4,500,000円〜8,500,000円 Final decision will be made based on experience and interview evaluation Work Hours: We operate on a flexible working system that gives you the freedom to shape your day. While we consider a full workday to be 8 hours per day under the Discretionary working System, we're more interested in your output than watching the clock. Our standard working hours are from 10:00 to 19:00 Japan Standard Time, but we trust you to manage your time in a way that lets you do your best work.
