Overview Money Forward aims to become the No. 1 back-office AI company in Japan, evolving from DX to AX (AI Transformation). At the core of this effort is the AX Promotion Division, which promotes improved internal productivity (increased sales per employee) through solution development, process standardization, and knowledge base construction that combine AI and data. Currently, the AI Solutions Department is running multiple projects in parallel and is in a phase of organizational expansion. This position is for a Manager in the AI Solutions Department of the AX Promotion Headquarters, who will be solely responsible for formulating the department's technology strategy, building its organization, and improving production quality during this growth period. Mission As a candidate for manager of the AI Solutions Department at the AX Promotion Headquarters, you will be responsible for promoting the following: Development and operation management of AI solutions: Formulate technical policies for company-wide AI solutions (management and operation of knowledge search infrastructure, promotion of company-wide tools, etc.) and lead the development and operation of the team. Establishment of production quality: Promote the handover of prototypes and production code conversion, and establish architecture design, CI/CD, and observability mechanisms. Organization building: Conduct recruitment, training, and team building to expand the organization. Responsibilities and Duties Formulating and managing the AI Solutions Department's technology roadmap Overseeing the planning, development, and operation of in-house AI solutions (knowledge search platform, common tools, etc.) Making decisions on handing over PoC products and promoting their conversion to production code Designing production-level architecture (CI/CD, observability, security) Recruiting, training, and evaluating team members (goal setting, 1-on-1 meetings, etc.) Providing cross-functional solutions in collaboration with data domain teams Role Mission & Growth Opportunities Build the organization from the ground up: You can lead the organizational design and development to scale a fast-growing department. Required Skills and Experience • Experience in developing and operating AI solutions (generative AI, LLM, AI agents, etc.) • Experience in managing engineering organizations (including recruitment, evaluation, and training) • Practical experience in one of the following cloud environments: AWS, GCP, or Azure • Deep understanding and practical experience in software development Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in solving problems in the context of internal IT/corporate engineering. Experience in formulating technology roadmaps and building consensus with stakeholders. Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.
