About the position In this role, you will design and build complex distributed systems and develop AI agent pipelines using a technology stack we believe will define the next decade. You will work closely with the founding team to architect AI-native systems from the ground up and play a key role in shaping the company’s future. You will have significant ownership over technical decisions and operate in a fast-paced environment where your work has a direct impact on the business. Responsibilities Own product architecture and drive key technical decisions Contribute to the design and development of data infrastructure Design and enhance secure AI agent pipelines Build and improve systems for evaluating LLM outputs Collaborate closely with the CTO and founding team Requirements Proficiency in at least one programming language Experience with Rust Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, choosing appropriate algorithms and data structures for real problems, and understanding how core concepts like networking and concurrency behave in real-world systems. Experience maintaining non-trivial distributed systems and data pipelines. This includes event streaming, consensus for replicated data, observability, monitoring, tracing across service boundaries and so on. Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities Curiosity-driven mindset with a willingness to experiment, learn from failure, and iterate Conversational-level Japanese. Our engineering team primarily operates in English, but Japanese communication is required for collaboration with domain experts.
